	Rhyl Minature Railway

		The miniature railway operating around the Marine Lake at Rhyl, North Wales, is among the oldest fifteen inch gauge railways anywhere in the world. Its origins go back to 1911.


	Fairbourne & Barmouth Steam Railway


	The Fairbourne Railway starts from seaside village of Fairbourne. Fairbourne is 10 miles West of Dolgellau and 2 miles south of Barmouth in the Welsh County of Gwynedd.


	Snowdon Mountain Railway

		Since 1896, the Snowdon Mountain Railway has been making it easy to claim this mountain peak . In a tremendously ambitious feat of engineering, and uniquely in Britain, a rack and pinion railway was built which rises to within 66ft of the summit of the highest mountain in England and Wales.
